The House of Music, which was one of the most anticipated buildings in the international community, opened its doors to the public in 2021 with a host of surprises and curiosities. The Millennium House guides will present the naturalistic concept of Sou Fujimoto’s ground-breaking building, constructed on the site of the former Hungexpo, and the musicality it contains both inside and out. Participants will also get a glimpse of the exhibitions and programmes that it hosts.

Good to know:

  • As the tours involve outdoor locations and we keep the tours in rainy weather also, please always dress according to the weather!
  • The tours take place in an accessible environment.
  • In some cases the institutions' own services may prevent the full presentation of the building, which is why the original program may be partially modified.
  • Dogs are not allowed on the tours as the routes involve indoor sites and the botanical garden.
  • Tickets can be purchased online or on the spot in person at the House of the Hungarian Millennium and at the City Park Visitor Center during opening hours.
  • Our walks are available both for individuals and for groups.
